Order Confirmation:
Once you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email to let you know that we’ve received your order and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. Immediately after receiving your order, we contact our suppliers to verify that the item is in stock and ready for immediate shipment. If the item is on backorder or unavailable, we will cancel the pre-authorization and notify you via email. If the item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and prepare your order for dispatch.
Order Shipment:
If your order is in stock and the charges are processed, your order will be shipped within five business days of placing it. We will send tracking details to the email address provided at checkout within 24 hours after the order leaves our warehouse. If you do not receive tracking information within six business days, please reach out to us at support@myaquariumdirect.com for assistance.
No International Shipping. (Some exceptions apply—if the website allows you to enter a non-U.S. shipping address, your order will be processed. Certain products may be available for shipment to Canada.)
Address Change Requests:
If your order has been processed or shipped and you wish to change the shipping address, we will make every effort to accommodate the request. However, please be aware that address changes may result in delays. Additionally, if there are any extra fees charged by our shipping partners due to the address change, the customer will be responsible for these charges. No exceptions.
Shipping Times:
All shipping estimates are approximations and are not guaranteed. We work closely with our vendors to expedite shipments as quickly as possible. However, if a customer decides to cancel an order due to delayed shipment beyond the estimated delivery time, the customer will be responsible for all related shipping charges, warehouse storage fees, and any other associated costs. Customers who initiate chargebacks over shipping delays will be held criminally responsible for theft. No exceptions.
Shipping Options:
Our standard "Curb-side Pickup" option is always free of charge! This option typically takes between 5-15 days for delivery after the order is placed. We also offer other shipping options, including:
- Threshold Shipping: The item will be delivered to your porch or a sheltered area such as your garage.
- White Glove Delivery: The item will be brought into the room of your choice, assembled if needed, and all packaging and boxes will be removed.
